Donald Trump will address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference later this month in Washington, the organization confirmed on Friday.
Trump is not the only presidential candidate scheduled to address AIPAC; the group confirmed that Hillary Clinton will also appear at the event, set for March 20-22 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in the nation’s capital.
Trump’s last appearance at a Jewish confab took place last December, when — during a speech to the Republican Jewish Committee — he dropped in a smattering of stereotypes and admitted that he would not win them over. He drew boos during that appearance when he refused to say whether he would advocate for the United States to move its Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and has faced criticism since for saying he would be “a neutral guy” in negotiating between Israel and the Palestinians.
“Is there anyone in this room who doesn’t negotiate deals?” Trump said, jokingly. “Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken.”
