The publisher said in a statement the book will be a tale of “motherhood, strength and resilience” and will describe Trump’s “childhood in communist Czechoslovakia, her escape from the regime and relocation to New York, her whirlwind romance, and her great success as a businesswoman.”
Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump all played major roles as surrogates during Trump’s campaign. They released a statement saying they were “excited” about the book and said Ivana is an “amazing mom.”
Donald Jr. and Eric have taken over the family business as Ivanka has moved to Washington with her husband and Trump adviser Jared Kushner. Although Ivanka does not have an official role in the administration, she is seen as an influential adviser to her father.
Ivana, a former model, was married to Trump for 15 years before their very public divorce in 1992.
